Hi,
I've used german hop Polaris in a few brews and it's always given me very strong piney/eucalyptus/menthol cold/refreshing tones. Never used it alone, but it always gave this character.
From what I had read about it, I was expecting some fruitiness, but I never got that. Did anyone get some fruitiness out of it and if so, how did you do it? Was it just a particular year that was fruity or is there a trick to it? I mostly used it in very late additions/after flameout or in DH.
Not that I mind that cool breeze effect, just wondering.
