Each recipe has its own thread in DISQUS (which is providing the comment service). DISQUS will show you threads related to anything you commented on under the My Disqus tab. You can also subscribe to comment threads under the drop down. You would have to do that for your own recipes, or any recipes you are following.
We have it on the list to refactor how comments work so this isn't as DISQUS centric. For example, we think following a thread should be automatic, and there should be a place in BF to see all your comments.
