    I was wondering if the recipes I put into the recipe calculator or save in my recipes are visible to others?

    The default for recipes is private. To share a recipe, click the recipe tools tab on the recipe edit page, then share. It will then show up in the search beer recipes section and it will be available for viewing by others via the URL.
