I pitch my entire starter (rather than decant),

water estimations in Brew Sessions are still a little off, it doesn't understand how I'm getting the extra quart back in, which is my starter with 100g of DME.

Is there any way to add a starter to the recipe or the brew session or wherever, just so the calculator and efficiencies line up correctly? t.i.a.

Oh that's a good question, I never think about that. I always just kind of ignored it and accepted I had leftover after filling a keg.

Given that the starter beer usually isn't that good, why not just decant it and accept the trivial amount of water? It's a lot easier than calculating the addition of beer of one gravity to unfermented wort of a different one.

Generally because I don't want to spend the day or 2 chilling it to get the yeast settled before I add it.
