Instead, you decided to be the bot detector on Brewers FriendAlas, next Saturday I will be in Albany, GA as the lead robot inspector in a competition, which ends (for me) around 8 or 9, because someone has to break down the field too.
On a pleasant note, my team* came in second at this weekend’s competition. I am very proud of them!
* I took this year with the team off, after 22 years I needed a break. Their success had little to do with me, although perhaps my absence was a positive factor.
YesAre you guys in summertime yet?
(Has the clock been moved)
The clock moved and we got an 80f (26c) degree day as a teaser. It did help clear the foot of snow we got two days earlier though.
That’s sort of how it is when we go fishing in NW Ontario. Stays daylight until midnight or so, and it’s daylight pretty early. HOWEVER, it’s great it summer, and I am not a fan of that in the winter when it’s opposite. In my younger days in my home in Upper Michigan, in the winter it was dark when I went to work, dark when I came home, dark when the kids were waiting for the school bus. I’m pretty sure if I lived in, say, Alaska I’d be a depressed drunk every winter.Seeing as we are talking about the time change, the clocks did go forward here in BC, but now they will stay there. They won't be changing them any more, at least until the leaders of the Province change, or change their minds.
In northern BC where we are now, in July, the sun comes up sometime after 4AM, it goes behind the mountains around 9:30 or 10PM, but then it is dusk for a solid couple of hours. Daylight for roughly 19 hours.
In the dead of winter next year the sun will come up around 9:45 or 10AM, and set around 5:30PM. Unlike in the summer it goes dark pretty quick in the winter. Daylight for less than 8 hours.

I was in Rainbow Springs a few weeks ago, and it was gorgeous for a little paddling. I bet this last weekend was just awesome. We once again got 12 inches of sunshine…..![]()
Fun thing was my daughter and her family came for my birthday. I work on a tour boat as first mate and tour guide/narrator, and they came on my tour the day of the time change!

Those are my three grandsons, ages 15, 13, and 12. It was so great to see them! My daughter and her husband also came.
My son and his wife and family were missed, though!
BTW, I HATE the time change. It’s dark in the morning until like 7:30. Ugh. I wish we would just leave the time alone!
