I like making my own things- and a couple of years ago I made my own tonic. I won't eat/drink anything with high fructose corn syrup, and Fever Tree tonic (my favorite) gets expensive! I bought chinchona bark, some lemons and limes, and I don't remember what else, and then used my carbonation cap for a two liter bottle, and it was really pretty darn good. I never thought to do it in a keg, but I could see having three gallons on tap. That would be pretty awesome, actually.

Do you have a recipe or sort of recipe?
I think it would be fun to make my own tonic water

I think I'm going to another brewery anniversary party. I love those people, and I am using Uber. I may or may not make it. It depends on how many beers I have, and if I remember to eat before I get home. Hopefully, Uber is still under $20 to get over there.

Saturdays have been interesting lately. Because of all the rain and the heat, I have been trying to get out in the yard by 630. I don't have my helper anymore, so I have just enough time when I am done to shower and clean the house before Kroger delivers. Then, I can go out and enjoy some beer in the afternoon.
I never thought I would ever choose delivery, but because of them, I can enjoy beer in the summer.
