    Other hobbies

I need to get my guitars out of their cases. I go through spells where i get de-motivated and don't play for a time (i think i have ADD and cant focus haha!) Regarding your earlier post in March...although may not be worth it but you could reset the neck if that is possible. Not comfortable...

What are you drinking right now?

My newest brew, 2 weeks in the keg. A British mild ale i think will turn out ok. It’s actually close to the style… Slightly Sweet with some slight smokiness and a good malt backbone. Comes out at 2.8% so an easy drinker

    Ginger Beer Bug.

Great videos Ben! I may give this a try at some point. My good friend always has an excess of citrus fruit so that would be a good base for it.

What are you doing with homebrew today?

What should have been a simple transfer from one keg to another keg ended up with a beer line not even associated with the new beer (was connected to the a commercial keg) springing a leak spraying beer all inside the kegerator tower and down inside the kegerator. After much frustration i found...

    Stalled pressure Fermentation

I am thinking i may transfer to the serving keg on Sunday. Hopefully my tilt is off and the hydrometer confirms it (and the beer is drinkable)

    Stalled pressure Fermentation

The gravity isn’t changing (fluctuating between 1.018 and 1.019). Temp is now at room temp (70 F). I can see the pressure has increased on the spunding valve and can smell the aroma in the kegerator and it’s pleasant. Guess ill wait a couple of days and transfer to serving keg and take a gravity...

    Stalled pressure Fermentation

So i think the fermentation has stalled (in the last 2 days it went from 1.020 to 1.019 and finally is now at 1.018). I have tried jostling the keg and that seemed to help. This is the same brew as in my earlier post. According to spunding valve the pressure is ~10 psi and will sometimes...
