    Custom home made beer cooler

Getting close to being far enough in my home remodel to start thinking/plan my basement bar. I need to keep the back bar depth to a minimum so I am thinking of building a fridge close to the width of a corny keg and 6 kegs wide. Plan on reusing fridge components but am having a hard time...

    Norwegian Farmhouse ale

My wife and I were in Granby CO a few months ago. A brewpub there had a Norwegian Farmhouse ale that was quite good, malty and about 7% abv. I have been looking for Norwegian beer recipes but can only find ones that are pilsner style. Anyone have a good recipe for me? I've got juniper and...

    Spring Water

But, for me, well worth it! My beer was so bad I wound up dumping several batches. Turned out I had high ph and hard water. Now using ro water and good beer again!! A local microbrew is going to share water with me so I don't have to use all those plastic jugs!

    Toberfest ale

I have a 4 tap system but she who must be obeyed turned it back into a freezer!! Not always easy obeying, just saying!! Most of the kegs are full and 15 gals in a secondary awaiting empty kegs! Toberfest ale

Thanks! Yes, I don't have the cooling ability to do a lager, but have made a couple October fests with Safale 05 that has turned out amazing! Wish I could find the recipes to make it again! Still searching I am!! Also, lots of grain in storage so trying to make it out of what I have, long ways...

    Toberfest ale

I might have mis copied the recipe? That does sound like way too much caramel, look again I shall! The recipe specified a 90 min boil, nada clue why? I haven't the cooling capacity to do a lager so I have made Marlene with ale yeast in the past and they have been very good! The dog in my profile...

    Toberfest ale

This is a 10.5 gal batch, is it still too much? This is a high rated recipe, I enjoy stronger malt flavors and this sounded delish to me. I did subistute a few grains for what I have in stock but these substitutions were close to what the recipe called for
