    100% Oatmeal beer.

I was checking out my old content. I have to say, after reading all of my old comments and you guy's suggestions I am going to give this another whirl in a couple weeks!

Where do you guys keep your kegs when your kegerator is full?

Yeah, we run at 64-67 in the winter.

Where do you guys keep your kegs when your kegerator is full?

We are also forced to pay $0.19 per KWH through our City with no other options.

Where do you guys keep your kegs when your kegerator is full?

To me there is no way in hell 82 would feel 'cool' at 80 percent humidity! I would never stop sweating in 'places' just sitting around in my shorts :D. I've already got a few quotes for solar and my payments would be upwards of $400/mo with our current power consumption, so I need to lower...

Where do you guys keep your kegs when your kegerator is full?

My only problem is that my electric bill is already insanely high in the summer. I've got 2800sq ft and am approaching $1000/mo in electricity during the hot months keeping thermo on 72. I'd like to reduce the amount of powered devices until I can get that under control ( need to replace 53...

Where do you guys keep your kegs when your kegerator is full?

The whole idea was that this would be our 'drink fridge' so that we can save space in the main fridge. Pepsi Zero will be rotated to the flavor of the month for whatever nonalcoholic beverage the wife and I are drinking at the moment. You all make a good point though, the root beer may be kicked...

Where do you guys keep your kegs when your kegerator is full?

I do 5 gallon batches in corny kegs. I'm getting my first kegerator this weekend. I have a seltzer that will be on tap for my wife, my APA that will be on tap for myself, Pepsi Zero for when we don't want alcohol, and a root beer for my son. That's a full kegerator! I want to have another beer...

Standard exhaust vent should be fine right?

    good burner

Oh I gotcha. Yeah that would be something I could use to do my brewing indoors. As I just brew in a few aluminum and stainless pots. I'd like to move in for the summer. It gets so hot here!

    good burner

Can you point me to some brewing systems that have an induction element?

    good burner

Mine came as a kit to cook crawfish. It leaves black soot and there is no way to adjust air :( The banjo burner linked above looks great. I've had my eyes on a 220v electric kettle for a while.

    Diacetyl clean up -

TIL that Diacetyl has a buttery aroma and flavor. I assume this is desired in some styles.

    Brewing a Twisted Tea clone?

I was just able to watch that. I suppose I'll have to experiment with some things. Need to find me a gallon sized container I can put an airlock on now. Don't want to make 5 gallons of doo doo!

    Brewing a Twisted Tea clone?

According to Silver King Brewing it is a beer in which you use tea leaves instead of hops. Idk when to add them though. I want it to be refreshing and not bitter.

    Brewing a Twisted Tea clone?

Is brewing twisted tea a thing? I found this recipe but I'm unsure Twisted Tea Base V2.0 Beer Recipe | Extract No Profile Selected | Brewer's Friend (brewersfriend.com) I'm guessing at a minimum I would need to mix actual tea into this recipe with some lemon juice or lemon extract. I couldn't...

Fermenting in Stainless Steel with no sight glass?

Yeah I had planned to hit some places up next time I go to Dallas and/or Houston but Dallas is 4 hours from me and Houston 3 hours, wouldn't be worth the fuel.

    Session IPA?

I asked them to add Session IPA to the builder because it is a recognized style as far as I can tell. https://www.brewersfriend.com/forum/threads/bjcp-releases-2021-beer-style-guidelines.15264/

Fermenting in Stainless Steel with no sight glass?

Ouch! I'm sorry that happened. It does say you can carry by the handle as long as you support from the bottom. I didn't realize it would break the neck though. The supply house I bought it from didn't include that safety precaution in the description.

Fermenting in Stainless Steel with no sight glass?

Weird, I get 'Zero local results found' when searching 'Carboy'. Can you pass me the link you are using? Our local craigslist and facebook marketplace suck...
