Ok awesome thank you. Next time I think I'm going to go with 3.78 gallons when I have done that in the past I have made my 2.5 gallon mark. I thought 4.78 gallon starting was going to be too much or maybe I just have a lot to learn still.

ok my OG was 1.05 and was supposed to be 1.069 so I should have continued the boil until I hit the OG?

Hello, So I made the recipe Sweet California Blonde from brewers friend and it said to start with 4.78 gallons. I followed the instructions and when I put the wort into the primary fermenter I ended up with 3.5 gallons instead of the 2.5. My question is did I mess up somewhere or is this...
