A neighbor finds holes like this in his back lawn, just about every day. I’m not sure what that lighter-colored substance is in there, but he calls it frass. They are maybe 2 or 3 inches in diameter and 3 or 4 inches deep. I’ve seen holes, but never filled like this. Several, most days. Ideas?
