I have been tempted to do the same. Sometimes I'll brew 8 gal and split it amongst 2 corny kegs. I may get some 3 gallon (11 L) kegs someday if I can find a really good deal. Also threw the spunding valve on the Strong Bitter, set it to 10 PSI, budding slowly as it is early. I didn't mention it yesterday, but the 2 points over on PBG, turned into 4 points over on OG coming out of the kettle. Per the calculator on the other BF software, I added 1.5 liters to the kettle early during transfer. After fermentation I will fill my 11 liter keg first for the garage fridge, and put the rest in a regular keg for the basement. Asking myself why I wouldn't do this as a matter of course, and I think I know the answer!
Even if I fill the 11L and only put 14 or 15 in a 19L it seems to make sense to me, stay tuned. This would never have crossed my mind if I was still mashing in the Brewzilla...I have been tempted to do the same. Sometimes I'll brew 8 gal and split it amongst 2 corny kegs.
