BF Fantasy football league?

It's already July, which means we're a month away from preseason games :D

I'm going to set up an 8 team league: PPR scoring, active roster is 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 Flex (RB/WR/TE), 1 TE, 1 Def, and 1 K, 6 bench spots.

DM me with your email if you want an invite to join.

I think we should try to draft in August, preferably on a Zoom call with some homebrews :)

Once it's clear everyone who wants to has signed up and we're still short, we can either open it up to strangers or have dummy teams that autodraft and play their best projected players that week.

What do y'all think??

Sending a DM as well.
I would say though that we should do our draft just a few days before the season starts. I have had star players go down for the year in preseason after the draft, and have seen it happen to others. In my other league we draft on the Wednesday before the season starts.

Wow, total of 5 teams already!! Invites will be sent out by the last week of July to give more people time to sign up. I've done some research and there are some fantasy league sites that will let us set up "dummy"/CPU teams that draft and set their team rosters every week. Sounds more fun to me than opening up to strangers, but if someone disagrees I'm all ears

Late preseason draft works for me. I do really want to try and find a time we could all/most of us hop on a zoom call to feel more like an in person draft. My work league used to draft in person and it was so much fun.

Also, auto-drafting is 100% okay in this league. I won't gatekeep anyone from joining because they're nervous about drafting by themselves. The draft is just one week out of an entire season. What matters more is someone who actually remembers to set their roster and maybe is willing to trade or at least pay attention to the waiver wire. And especially talks shit week to week on the forum about other teams :D

Apparently you received my message
I wasn't sure if I did it correctly. Doesn't matter to me when you draft
My team always looks different at the end of the season anyway

I can't wait to suck in another fantasy league!

@Sunfire96
What platform did you decide on?

Sleeper or Fleaflicker will allow us to have dummy teams if we don't fill every slot. I'm hoping we get 8 humans to play and it's a moot point :D I've heard good things about Sleeper

I also use Yahoo Fantasy for some of my football gambling and like it well enough, so I if I don't have to download a 2nd app I won't be mad

I use ESPN and Yahoo so they would be my preferred
It would be nice to have my teams on one place
