All day at the championship games for my grandson. They ended up on second place, losing in the final game. Then festivities after and didn't get home until late.
Hopefully next month... this retirement thing is really busy!
The way I look at is that if someone is looking for a roasty, dark beer in summer, you may as well give it to them.
That being said, id go with a big, rich Oatmeal Stout.
6.5% and thick and creamy.

I was playing around last week with what I call "Grandma Style" pizza.
Done on a sheet pan the way I remember homemade pizza growing up.
The main difference is this was a 3 day dough, not 3 hours like I got as a young boy.
I have a local roaster that I paired up with on a beer that was always a hit at the shop (Nut about Beans) that was Peanut Butter, Chocolate and cold steeped coffee Kolsch.
He gets single sorced organic beans from different origins and I have him do a light roast on them for me.
