Just noticed this when printing this recipe for my next brew.
Preboil size 13.2 gallons
Amount going into kettle 13.45
It isn't a big discrepancy, but shouldn't these numbers be the same?
Or is this picking up a loss in my equipment profile?

As far as I've been able to tell, the quick water requirements pull from equipment, fermentables and batch size with no regard to preboil or postboil volumes in the actual recipe.

Just did a quick test, if I change the boil off the amount going into kettle changes but if I change the preboil in the recipe it does not.

I've outlined some changes to how mash volumes, boil volumes, and temperatures could be improved and have had good discussions with the owners, devs, and yooper.

In the meantime, I'll submit a separate ticket for this, and the calc button for pre/post boil volumes in the recipe editor so it's all consistent.
