I realize HB is a malty style but would prefer to have some balance in it. Can anyone suggest a good hop schedule?

Here's what I have:
71% pilsner
16% munich II
13% munich I

bitter with sterling or magnum
1/2 oz sterling 15 min
1/2 oz sterling 5 min

1.068
~30 IBU

I like sterling, offers more depth than Magnum does, but magnum still has its place.

Try doing just Sterling with equal additions at 60, 30, and 5, or use Sterling to bitter and a lower alpha noble as a late addition for some nice aromatics.

I think I am going to go Sterling all the way through since I have a lot of it. I do have some hallertau mittelfruh that may make its way into the mix...

Most of the recipes I found were all over the board. I ended up going with my original plan.

21g Sterling bittering
14g Sterling 15 min
14g Sterling 5 min
