How is everyone using Raspberry Pi in your brewery - and where would you recommend a new Raspberry Pi user to start?

I use mine to monitor the tilts I have going at any time. Very handy.

I also keep looking at http://web.craftbeerpi.com/. Not sure what I'd really want to implement, possibly just a connection from the tilts to the heater and cooler in the fermentation fridge, but the old school temperature probe taped to the side of the fermenter does a pretty good job. I don't think I'd look at the brew day side of the system as my brew day system is relatively simple and it feels like overkill, but it looks interesting.

Thanks Mark. I see where Brewers Friend will integrate with Tilt also. Is there an advantage to monitoring your Tilts via the pi vs BF ?

I have to check this out, I have a brewery and having the fermentation temperature accessible via IOT would be awesome!

Tilt Pi and Tilt Pi. That might be the easiest implementation to get running, and for me the most useful. I still haven't gotten brewpi to work

Im interested in a Pi myself as I have an eye on a tilt soon, the others I have seen can run a small untapped menu for a draft system and can keep track of keg volumes.

Mainly just to keep all my brew session notes and observations together with the tilt data. Nothing related to running the devices in the process. Though I use TiltPI to push the data to BF.
