I have two brews planned in the coming month. I have two Omega strains I will be using. Undecided which to use so looking for advice. I'm kinda leaning towards OYL 091 for GB#1 and OYL 052 for GB#2.

OYL 091 Hornindal Kveik
OYL 052 DIPA

GB#1
2 Row
Flaked Oats
Carapils
Golden Naked oats
Hops:
Citra, El Dorado, Azacca

GB#2
2 Row
MO
Munich
C40
Victory
Hops:
Amarillo, Cascade

Is #1 a ne ipa? Lots of people are using the kviek strains for those, so I'd go with that if it is a ne ipa.

Yep- The last NEIPA i brewed I used the Kveik strain. It made for a great beer.
I'll probably go back with the Kveik for #1 and use the Conan (OYL052) for #2.

I've been using my Kveik in damned near everything.

more or less yup. It's good stuff. Makes really nice pale ales.

It likes to ferment hot too, like 30C. I actually have to put a heat band on my fermenter.

A good yeast for in the summertime then..it's weird such a warm clean fermenting strain of yeast has come from such a cold climate blows my mind.
