Hi! all brewers, I'm Doug & have been brewing for some 30 years. I'm on a rural country farm that's hot & dry in summer & bloody freezing in winter. I mostly brew Coopers Draught beer & have a Co2 set up using six Cornelius 19lt kegs. I have easy access to barley as it's grown here & hope to do a mash which is why I'm here! I'm also into Pinball machines & have eight machines to play while having a cold wet beer, Anyway hello & I hope to enjoy my membership here.

No, but I have six grain-dunes next door to our property, a Grain Bunker it's called. I can just jump over the fence & fill my buckets. I should point out I'm aloud to as I keep an eye out for security & I get what I need in return.

Made a canned brew up.....Needs more malt & hops! I'll just have to drink it alone. :lol

Welcome mate , shame about you being a Victorian but guess you cant help it .
Barley needs to germinate and be dried before being much good for brewing , you can malt it yourself but its not easy at home to get consistent results

I do enjoy playing them! I have a room full of pinnys. My beer mates come over & sometimes won't go home..Lol
