I lived in Costa Rica for 5 years I loved this one beer called Rock Ice Golden Monkey. It appears they no longer sell it and I am in Canada now. Does anyone know the recipe to make this beer or how I can go about obtaining it?

Can't help you on this thread, either.

That's an interesting question, no idea though. I did read up on it, you could probably recreate it if you remember the flavour profile.

I do recall the flavor and I just discovered it's a Mangosteen-flavored beer , its apparently a fruit found in Panama so I might be out of luck.

I have never brewed beer before how do you even put fruit into the beer?

If youve never brewed not once nadda than check out John Palmers how to brew book or online book. Adding fruit to beer can also add other microorganisms and spoilage bugs if not prepared first correctly. I pasturise my fruit for half hour at 70c to kill any baddies then puree then pitch it in at tail of fermentation.
