I would like help on knowing how much Sod. Benzoate powder and citric acid powder to used to make a gallon of syrup. or add to a 5-gallon syrup to preserve it. I recently purchased 50 lbs of Sod. Benzoate powder and citric acid powder to make syrup but I am not sure of how much to add to each 5-gallon syrup container. help if you know how many teaspoon or tablespoon to used.

Specifically? None. Sugar syrup is stable without preservatives. Think honey, or maple syrup. You only need the preservatives in dilute sugar syrups like soda.
