I'm new to using BF for building water. I use 100% RO water from the local grocery store for BIAB brewing and want to save an "RO Water" profile in Brewer's Friend. I assume I'd enter "0" or near 0 for the various ions, but am not sure what to enter for Alkalinity (speaking of "0", that's close to my knowledge level of water chemistry). Should I enter "0", and should I select "Bicarbonate" or "Hardness" in the dropdown menu? Many thanks!

if your using ro water than 0 is the start but you have to build it from there

I use bicarbonate on my water profile because that's what's given in my local unity water report. I think the two are the same?

You can select bicarbonate as the choice. My RO water has a bicarb level of 17 ppm, but even that is low enough and close enough to 0 that you can use 0 if you don't know. Even a guess of say, 5-10 ppm, would work.

I'll do just that.

Many thanks for the responses.
