Just bottled up a 6 litre batch of black rye ipa,although just under 5% so not quite the strenght,but it suits me.
A real mish mash of grains.Had some given to me as well so used some of those up to .

6 litre partial mash. 70 min mash at 67c. 10 min dunk sparge at 72c. 60 min boil

Pale malt 500 grm
Liquid extract 454 grm
Choc and choc rye mix 55 grm
Crystal malt 45grm
Black malt 20 grm
Rye malt 35 grm
rye flaked 20 grm
flaked barley 35 grm
Challenger pellets 8 grm 60 min
Amarillo "" "" 8 grm 15 min
Amarillo and Citra 8 grm each turn off
OG 1047. FG 1.010 IBU 43.61
Lovely and dark but nice and clear,smashing aroma so looking forward to getting it carbed up and drunk:D

needed to start using up some older stuff when i was given some more grains which were getting close to needing to be used up,sooooooooooo hence the mish mash brew.
Certainly had a very pleasant aroma whilst bottling:cool:
 
Well if it smells good it sure should taste good too.
