I am walking, talking, living proof of that.
In my other league I finished dead last in a 12 team league, but I won my final game giving me an official 11th place finish.
In spite of leaving 2 players in my lineup who were inactive, had I played the guy who won the championship I would have beaten him handily in the final week.
Thinking of changing my avatar until Superbowl weekend, what do y'all think?

I would be up for expanding to 8 or 10. Not crazy about a 12 team league, waiver wire just gets too weak in my opinion

Hey there, sports fans! It's that time of year again where football season is fast approaching and you should all join the Brewer's Friend fantasy football league! It's a low stakes, friendly competition with some light trash talk (and plenty of beer talk). The NFL season kicks off on September 9th, so we should probably plan our draft for the first week of September. I think we should also set a deadline before draft day to decide on league/championship rules. I loved drafting over Zoom, so it could be fun to have our preseason meet up "in person" as well.

First off, any returning members that want to play again? I sure hope so! We need to band together to take down our champion from last year, @Craigerrr ! @Josh Hughes @Brew Cat @Hawkbox what do you say?? BrewCat, do you think your buddy Radagast wants to play again?

We played in a 6 team league last year, so we have plenty of spots open if anyone would like to join the fun
