What are you doing with homebrew today?

I kegged Janet's Brown Ale (https://www.brewersfriend.com/homebrew/recipe/view/1539077/janet-s-brown-ale). Initially had a problem getting the flow to the fermenter started, probably due to dry hop addition plugging floating dip tube. I don't remember who here suggested pumping CO2 through liquid out port on the fermenter cleared the clog. But I thank them because it worked great. After that it was smooth sailing.
I really need to brew this beer. I have so much hops it would eat up a good portion of them.

I was thinking about brewing today, but I am not really prepared for that.
After I am done being lazy and drinking my coffee I have kegs and beer lines that need cleaning.
The snow started in the night, and should be falling from now until tomorrow sometime so it is a good day for indoor activities!

Beer lines cleaned, sanitized and now waiting for me to brew more beer.
Keg cleaning in process.
Watching the Maple Stupids with a Dunkel while keg 2 soaks in PBW mixture.

Going to brew the Mandarin Wheat today
Just a 2step mash
A ferulic acid rest @105 then an infusion to get 152
This was an experimental beer that everyone raved about so it will go into the rotation
I dried the Mandarin yesterday

Home today so I got a little done. Kegged my Irish Stout, had a little left over for a nice taste later. I transferred my brown ale to a smaller keg as I need that one for Smiddicks in a week or so. I also needed a small keg for the basement mini fridge since the Bitter kicked.

Good use of your free time!

Ordered some more quick disconnects. I've been slowly working on the small things that cost me time or frustration on brew day. Swapping the pump hose from recirculation to sparge, back to whirlpool ; hooking up the chiller connections, and so on. Got some braided pump hose, when I full power whirlpool, the hose supplied with my original pump would collapse, so time to upgrade. Of course, fitting about 3/4 of the quick connectors exhausted my hose clamp supply, ordered more. To help with cold crashing, I've wrapped my fermenters with pex to use with a 2nd glycol chiller circuit. I'm upgrading that from .25 to 3/8" OD tubing, which will be easier to get a good seal on and won't look so redneck at the point they attach to the quick connectors.

There's always something.

Well my game was canceled and moved to Saturday, so i brewed. Perfect brew day until it was time to chill. Thread coming soon. I had nearly a liter of Irish stout left on the cake so…I drank it
