Rainy season, so it's green here instead of brown

It has been a little chilly in the morning inland, but on the sand yesterday morning, it was very nice. I was able to stay at the beach on Saturday night, and I thought it was a fitting picture for the winter solstice.
It looks pretty over there when everything is green.

I had a friend fixing a couple of my speakers today that only lives about a 15 minute drive from the beach, so I decided to take a short walk. That was quite a site and picture worthy when I saw it.
I was over there right after Christmas, and a Pelican decided to hang out with me while I was fishing. I could probably touch that thing from my chair. I have had large tarpon surface in front of me while I was swimming out there. Big ass rays jumping, dolphins close to me, and a distinct mermaid cloud formation right after my wife died ..that place is special.

This is how much snow my Stepson has in Kitimat British Columbia. This a week or so ago

This is the forecast for this week.
Barb is heading out there on Thursday.
Point of reference, 25mm = 1", sort between 3 and 4 inches of rain expected on Friday alone.

I don't know how much rain they ended up getting, but Barb says it has been raing since she got there Thursday afternoon. I remember when I was first there a couple years ago thinking that I could maybe retire there. But look at the sun up and sun down times at this time of year. It is dark A LOT there in the winter!
