What are you doing with homebrew today?

Can't wait to put this in something British

Down to 10C now, hopefully it is down to 5C when I get home later tonight so I can have a properly chilled QC sample.
Not sure if I mentioned this, but I racked this onto the yeast/trub/hop debris from my last batch. I was a little nervous about doing so, but the sample from last night tasted about right (room temperature and flat).
This is a 4.5% Hazy with Citra, Simcoe, and Mosaic

That's the Fermonster with pressure kit, right?

I could be wrong, but I don't think that the fermonster is rated for pressure.
Ut yes,that is an allrounder

I have the one with the collection container
If I did it again I'd go with the all rounder
I don't even open the valve anymore

Mine leaked for awhile until I realized I had one of the o rings in wrong. After ai figured that out it's fine. I only use it for the lagers it is a bit more to clean than my SS Brew bucket

EDIT
I figured it out not ai
Weird now ai is auto correct to take credit for something they had nothing to do with
Oh Brother
Or should it be Oh Big Brother

You are correct. The Fermonster is what I have, and is certainly not rated for pressure. Maybe that caused the Freudian slip. Looks to me like it just needs a better lid because it's very thick plastic, but they have no intention of updating the design. It kinda looks like the alien ships in War of The Worlds, the upside-down tear drop shape, especially sitting on it's stand. I like it, but would really like to try the pressure fermenting to see what all the hooplah is about. See if my amateur taste buds can tell the difference.

I need to brew again....
Just too much other stuff going around
I feel your pain. About the time I think I'm going to get a window, something ELSE needs doing. The missus added another 15 chickens a few months ago. A snake got 3 of them (and I got the snake), but the 12 remaining are exhibiting some issues that indicate overcrowding. The larger birds are somewhat more aggressive than our little Polish Crested birds and are picking the feathers off the backs of their heads. Not bothering them anywhere else, but overcrowding can lead to a little boredom and they're also currently molting, so any 'loose' feather looks like instant protein to the other birds. They'll eat any feather they can swallow. For that matter, they'll just eat anything they can swallow, full stop.

So, we've developed a plan to connect the outside fences of both pens together and utilize the area between the pens for expansion of the smaller yard as well as a relocation of our Quarantine pen. Went and got the crossties for the fence base this morning. I put down crossties to keep the pressure treated wood I use for the fence panels out of the dirt and give me a flat surface for keeping the fence in a straight line. I won't say level. It's a fence, doesn't need to be level. Next up is to build several new panels for the fence and pen cover and get ready to start moving fences and replacing the older fence design on the older coop. I designed the panels to be modular and that lets me rearrange them as needed to relocate a door or change the shape of the pen at will without disturbing the birds or having to keep them inside the coop any longer than necessary.

I'd free-range them if I could teach them to respect boundaries and keep them out of the neighbors' yards. Don't want them turning into Sunday dinner for someone and not know what happened to them, or feeding the hawks anything but squirrels and chipmunks. We have a large male redtail around here that's got at least a 4 foot wingspan. Our smaller birds would be gone in an instant without a cover on the pen.

For me the hoopla is getting it o tap and pouring faster as it is carbonated

I was getting ready to brew, even though it’s 36 degrees. Until I did some quick math and realized with brewing 2 larger batches in a row I am quite stocked up. Need to have a party. I enjoy the brewing process enough I need to stick to small batches.

yeah I got nervous last night thinking about the holidays
I brewed the Resilience IPA today since a lot of people like the IPA
I wanted to have a stout but don't have the time to brew it
