My daughter and I were at a Dr. Who convention this past weekend in Chicago. We had only planned for Friday morning through Saturday evening. But when the forecast doubled the potential snowfall, with the heaviest to occur while we were supposed to be driving home, I decided we'd stay another night. While it certainly wasn't a blizzard, driving on snow covered roads with poor visibility when you don't really need to, is just a bit too risky for me. At least it is for me now; when I was younger, I would have, and did, drive in that kind of weather.
