Abbaye Belgian Ale Yeast - Lallemand

I have used it for a dubbel and a quad, but not a tripel. But it worked well for each of them.

Any particular flavors that you felt you got out of the yeast itself?

I got a slight tangy aftertaste, very subtle, that balanced pretty well against the malt-forward style. The primary reason I used this yeast is that I have never had any issues with a stuck fermentation at high gravity. It ferments quickly and has a pretty high attenuation.

I did use this for a Tripel. The flavor was not over bearing. A little pepper but not with a bite. I agree with Bubba Wade, it does work pretty fast. I harvested some to use again in another beer.

What temp did you go at?
