Just getting started. Opened up my first home brew a few days ago the Block Party amber from Northern brewers. Turned out as expected just a little stronger (only had enough liquid for 40 bottles).

next up I am doing a 1 gallon all grain.
I bought the ingredients just to try to learn. How will this turn out?

All of my stuff to make 5 gallon batches is at my brew buddy house. Not going to anyone’s house right now lol. So I can only do a gallon with what I have here. Actually still waiting on the order to ship.

Welcome!

The recipe looks great. Nothing like a SMaSH beer to see what the ingredients bring to the table.

Good luck! Keep us posted.

Welcome. I don't have the patience for iterative processes but they are a great way to learn.

Howdy, I'm awaiting the arrival of the same kit and beer recipe and can't wait to start my first brew.... Did you find the recipe and process simple. Is it bottled yet? IF so how did it turn out?

That's a great way to get started! One malt, one hop - taste the results and repeat to see if you can make the same beer twice!

Bottled yesterday. It wasn’t a kit I just read a lot to come up with an easy way to make it. I made a lot of mistakes. I brewed another batch last Thursday and didn’t make the same mistakes. But made a new one or two lol

Sometimes the mistakes turn out to be OK and better than you expected. If you get to the yeast pitching with good sanitation, you probably will be ok. Welcome!
