Completely Customizated Brew Steps

The Brew Steps customization feature is extremely unwieldy and clunky. This feature should be simplified. I'd also like the ability to create a new Brew Steps category (such as AIO brewing) and completely build my steps from scratch, without suggestions from Brewer's Friend.

They why not just develop your own program?
Not being sarcastic, but if you can, then why use what you consider to be inferior?

Hi, and welcome!

I decided to use the various steps as a guide, and built my own checklist in Excel. It was faster and easier. I could have done it in Word, but formatting was easier for me.
