Thanks everyone, that clears it up a lot. I'm doing 13lbs pale malt and 6oz C-15, mashing in at 150-152 and using S-05.I had a buddies beer a long time ago and it was very dry and wanted to duplicate it. I think he must have sub'd some malt for sugar. Maybe I'll try that in the future. Cheers!

After scouring the page I finally found the calc button, hit it and it did adjust the water amount so did a test brew day but it did not resolve the issue. :( This is a standard recipe I've just created with the only difference being a 70min boil time. Could that be the issue?

Big hint on the problem (possibly)! I just realized that issue is with inventory items in which you don't have stock in. I purchased a pound of Acidulated malt, updated my inventory and went to the brew link. This time it grabbed Acidulated malt (now in stock) vs trying to switch it to Aromatic...

Thanks WesBrew. Yeah I've experienced that in the past too, blamed the software and then realised it was dipstick holding the mouse lol. I can figure some of these things out but when the system goes squirrly for no reason when it was working fine, it make me pull my hair out in frustration...

Here's another screwy thing as of late. The inventory being deducted on brew day is not the same ingredients as the recipe. Not sure if this screen shot will show it but it is removing aromatic malt in place of acidulated, pale malt in place of rye and ESB malt in place of wheat.

I don't want to be on the beta program, I'm not a computer person; I just want to get the value I pay for out of my annual subscription. This is not the cheapest site to belong to and these problems are very frustrating. I don't understand these programs and how something that was working fine...

Thanks Trialben. Just made a test recipe using simlar weights of grain and hops and it looked ok on both tools and printed version. Just something hinky in the software I guess with that one recipe.

Thanks Yooper. Whenever I see this I go and inspect the ingredient and if there is just one small detail wrong, it doesn't grab it. That said I can't figure whats wrong here.

Hi Yooper, I think there may be a misunderstanding of the issue? If you go to your test recipe and click Brew, scroll to the bottom of the page like the screen shot below. Do you get the same message about ingredients not found in inventory?

Thanks for looking into this Yooper. Funny enough it grabbed my Amarillo fine but having trouble with Columbus and Mosaic. I figured the pale malt issue as one is branded and the other not. Seems unnecessary complications having so may options ad if it doesn't match exactly its all skewed...

Well for $34/year this is a piss off. Seems like everytime something is working fine, there is an update and shit goes sideways. Inventory management is a key selling point to this software for me.
