Notes

For an International Amber Lager, we selected 2-row malt as a clean and cheap base male to which we added 15% Victory malt to add color and additional complexity. Magnum are added at 1st boil for bittering as they are inexpensive and high Alpha Acid. Our aroma hops are Cluster; they strike a pleasant balance with floral and piney notes. WLP860 is a lager yeast common in Helles styles and should impart a neutral or maybe crisp flavor. The SRM will be just slightly out of BJCP spec but would not be noticeable to most consumers.
