Sample off fermenter about 30 hours in. Ferm temp mostly over 70 and around 3-5psi. Just curious about progress. No scum, nice color. Seems dry. High hopes. |

Said what the hell and bottled 12 22oz'ers 1 appx 1tsp/5g turbinado style sugar ea. There were yeast chunks and maybe some higher carbonation than thought - hope no bombs. Flavor was already better than yesterday.
Probably also lost about 24oz in testing/packaging. Est 288 oz or 2.25 gallons so far. May bottle remainder on Monday or over the weekend. |

total collection was 48 x 22 oz bottles with not much waste. I think predominant loss was when it leaked overnight #1 |

I've consumed about half of this. 1) it has a bit of apple/acidity taste when first poured that clears up after it sits a few minutes.
2) its been in the fridge for several weeks but has yet to drop crystal clear.
I'd try LUTRA again, but will do my next lager with W34-70 and see how that goes. I'm thinking maybe a dry Irish stout for LUTRA. |
