Notes

notes for next brew:

  • Substitute mace for nutmeg if available

  • Could use less chocolate malt and some crystal 60 or 80 to provide a plum tone

  • could use some roasted flavour, but in small amounts.

  • cinnamon and clove could be stronger

  • some black treacle may be an idea

  • Candi syrup good, but might be changed to something darker
