I've been brewing for about 6 years, but just started all grain brewing. Learning curve is steep. I recently purchased a Blichman 2 vessel electric EasyBrew system. I've brewed 3 five gallon batches and I'm sure they are all different. I'm learning to control my water chemistry, and trying to improve the efficiency of my mash. Not there yet.
I prefer IPA's and Ales, and in the winter, like to make pilsners.
