Review of the Brew Jacket for controlled fermentation

Want to get anyone's opinion on the "Brew Jacket" Solid state cooling device. Found here:

Anyone have any issues with this newer product. I'm new to brewing, and a bit skeptical of how easy this seems to work. Seems too good to be true.

I looked into that when I started to consider brewing lagers. Cost was my objection. A chest freezer and a temperature controller is much cheaper. And the freezer is capable of cooler temperatures. 35° below ambient works for me (Brew Jacket), but I don't live in Vegas.

A used refrigerator, a lamp with an incandescent bulb and a two-stage temperature controller are much cheaper.
