Quick question: The estimated boil size input in the recipe editor, is this the volume at boil temperature, or should this be adjusted to 20°C?

This is just your wort volume before you start boiling, temperature doesn't matter

Yes, but the wort volume is dependent on temperature. For example, 30 liters at boil temperature is equal to approximately 28.8 liters at 20°C. The reason I'm asking is when I am logging for example the pre-boil gravity, I also register the pre-boil kettle volume, where an expected volume is noted to the right of the box. My actual volume is pretty far off the expected volume here, and I assume this expected volume is related to the estimated boil size registered in the recipe.

your default settings/losses and "starting water" can play havoc on getting your numbers right the first couple of brews
