Option to send message to a friend/Brewer

It would be nice if we could send a message to a friend.

Some member don't have contact details, so it would be helpful if we could send a message to ask something regarding the recipe.

If you click on someone's name you can "start a conversation" with them

Sorry I can't find the option "Start a Conversation". Does the person need to be a premium member?
What page do I need to be at to be able to start a conversation?
