Hi everyone,

Kwantlen Polytechnic University (KPU), which runs a brewing diploma program, is offering a continuing education Brewing Chemistry Basics online workshop Aug. 19-28, as well as an online Recipe Design course starting Sept. 18. Both of these courses are taught by brewing faculty instructors and great for homebrewers who already have some knowledge and wanted to deepen their understanding.

Questions:
- Are these types of courses of interest?
- What other topics are you interested in?
- Do you prefer online or in-person classes?
- Any interest in a 'brewers camp' type offering where you're here for a week or long weekend?

Hope this is the right section of the forum to post questions like this...?

Thanks!
DeAnn

PS: These courses are offered in Canadian $.

Perfectly fine to post this DeAnn. I think some of our members might be interested. Since we’re very geographically diverse (from Australia to Zambezi, literally) online courses are likely favored.

I’ll mention to everyone all that courses appear to be priced in CDN$, not USD.

I did an online course (forget the university, but I want to say midwest) and it was great. It was free for online, and it got very very indepth. Like a 500 level science course by the end. I learned a lot, forget a alot, and found it worthwhile for sure.
