Android On " My Recipes" page, can't access individual recipe details by tapping the recipe name

I think that I (and others) have raised this before. On my mobile, I used to be able to access recipe details on the My Recipe page, by tapping the recipe name. For some time now that hasn't worked. I have to go into Edit to see the recipe, which I don't like doing, because there is always the risk of accidentally tapping on some variable, and changing it. I have a Galaxy A14 5G. The operating system is Android.

As a data point, this works as expected in iOs: tap the name, up comes a view of the recipe, not editable.

Do you have a screenshot? It seems like the updated Android and iOS app don’t do that.

This is still happening. I don't think that I can do a screenshot. Anyway all it would show is the normal list of recipes. It works ok on my PC which is also Android. I can click on the recipe name and the recipe opens. The phone is fairly new and has the latest version of Android.

Another data point: On iOS 18.6.2, BF app 1.9.2 build 58, I can open a recipe in “Recipes” by tapping it, and also edit it by selecting the ‘Recipe’ icon (a mortar and pestle?).

just tap on edit to view it. if your not editing then click view to get out of the editor. I guess its a work around but not a big deal. Maybe BF will get around to an update at some point.

Yes I do that, but I prefer not to press edit, as it's easy to accidentally touch part of the screen and change something. I agree that it's not a big deal - it's just a bit irritating when it used to work perfectly. Thanks anyway.
