What are you testing?
 
The same recipe brewed on an all-in-one system and on minimal equipment.
That is an interesting idea. Some of that might depend on the brewer and the weather conditions though. It would be easier to mash with a heating element on a kettle, but if conditions are right, I get hit mash temperatures with a manual thermometer. Your hoppy beers would probably be better with a few more toys, but for something simple? Interesting.

Very cool Steve looking forward to your results I'm hoping it's imperciveable.
Unless one is direct fired by propane vs electric I rekon that's gotta cause more mallard reactions from the flame scorching the wort but that's my bias talking.

So is it just yourself?
Looks like a litta cups if so it's gunna be a big night :p

No the president of the local homebrew club brewed an identical recipe on an all-in-one system.
