Yes. You can choose which you would like, Imperial vs metric, and it will convert them.

Yup, just to echo what Yooper said, if you know you want 5 gallons, but would like it in metric, start by entering 5 gallons and then switch the units to L and the conversion gets done automatically.

You'll run into another snag if, like me, you like to work in liters and degrees Fahrenheit. But I suppose that serves me right for being inconsistent.
