Frikandellen, that's basically fried chopped ham, yes? My wife's mother used to make that, but she passed away before I could ever taste it. I did get some in Amsterdam airport once, it was good, but I have nothing to compare it to, so it may have been excellent or possibly just airport food.

Do you have a recipe? I have ham...

Thank you! I need to make these very soon.

My mother-in-law's recipe used only cooked ham with spices, breadcrumbs and an egg, shaped like hamburgers. But, she was from Poland, so maybe a regional difference.
