Independence Day

Almost everything's full, so taking a weekend off. Next weekend or so it's Kolleweizen.
 
Nice! A lager like gain bill with a load of strong hops. Happy 4th!
 
I mashed this beer @ 152 for +/- 2.5 hours. It dropped about 3° over that time.
I then double batch sparged and ended up boiling for 2 hours to hit my volume.
OG came in low @1.072 but I'm OK with that.
I'm currently at 1.007 after 3 days @ 67°.
I moved the fermentors to the fridge to cold crash. No off flavors present.
I will dry hop tomorrow. Keg on Thursday and force carb.
8.9% ABV :mrgreen:
I'll have this finished in 7 days.
I'll submit tasting notes in a week or so.

Love Kolleweizen! I usually just make a Dunkle that I make kolleweizens out of. Great stuff!
