Anyone use it? Thoughts? Opinions?

Used it as a single hop, and did a 60min addition of it. So their science is right, has a good co-humulone level so can be a good bittering/dual purpose hop

As to flavour, getting more banana than cherry. Both are described in the hop description, but surprised I don't get more cherry. Used M66 @17, which put the fermenter at 20ish.

Hmm, banana and cherry. Not sure what I'd use it in. Stouts? Would it stand up to roast flavours?

Doing a Red IPA, which isn't roasted, but has a decent malt bill, so we shall see

But yeah, I had the same thing, do a stout/porter and see if it can hang. I think it can actually. Statistically it is a beast, and should have some serious flavour no matter what. I'm gonna see if I can get some biotransformation stuff going on with it as well.

I used it as a single hop in a cream ale.... I had read that it can give off a melon / cantaloupe flavor..... I got some kind of sweet berry flavor flavor..... as the beer warmed up the sweetness seemed to fade a little.

Yeah, it seems a bit tart the older it gets. When it was fresh I could definitely see cantaloupe. Definitely not after 5 days or so. When I did it in the Single Hop IPA, I kegged it really quickly, so the beer itself was pretty young.

Yeah, it seemed to change a bit after a few days in the keg but for me it seemed to have that sweet berry flavor. Not sure what to pair this hop with but I am definitely going to use it again down the road in my brewing.

Whatever you decide to pair it with, make sure it can stand on its own. I feel like this is another galaxy or sabro. Use it sparingly and make sure whatever you have with it can challenge or compliment its flavour
