Heating sparge water

Not seeing how that works
 
The BIAB is in a colander suspended in a small pot. I gently pour water over it that collects in the pot which then gets added to the big pot on the stove.
Ahhh. Could not see that from the picture
 
I just put the whole bag in a pot of (sparge) water, stir it all around, then drain in a colander and add to the brew pot.
And repeat...
 
I think i'm also likely to drop mine in a pot or brewing bucket. I'd have the sparge water in there at room temp. I've been told no need to heat the sparge water though. I did a hold and squeeze last night but it was a pita.
