Forgot to add late addition

Brewed a black IPA last night, forgot to add a half pound of Belgian candy sugar. Should I add it now?

Make a simple syrup, cool it and add. If it's already syrup, add it.

I've done that before. As long as it's sanitized, everything is good.

I'm rubbish at remembering late additions. Did that yesterday as well.
