Anyway going to be in Prague next week for nine days. Doing some research on Czech Pilsner
Yeah I'll be heading to Pilsen.
Should be great to get away from the news and politics. Like GWB so eloquently said " that's some weird shit" laugh

The thread title made me think of Chevy Chase’s version.
Enjoy the trip, strike up a conversation in Plzn about, well, Pilsen. With a bartender perhaps. Which is their favorite?

Lovely country, been far too long since I've been there

Pilsner Urquell is a city!
A great tour for sure. Don't forget to grab some beers from the gift shop for the train ride back to Prague.

Sounds like the trip of a lifetime!

Prague was just a wonderful city to visit. I'd love to go back! Plsn was great and the tour we did was fabulous. Drinking unfiltered lager out of a barrel in the lagering caves was heaven.

Back home and thought I'd post these

Well I'm glad I went to Prague and Czech Republic
Learned quite a bit from talking to the locals. English is taught from an early age so easy to find someone to talk. My great grandfather was German Bohemian so I was interested in that. Of course all the German people were expelled. I was told that Germans are tolerated now a day's because of economic reasons. A few German people have tried to get their homes back and some have had success. They tend to like Americans and in Pilsen there is now a monument to the Americans who liberated Pilsen. They were happy to hear my wife's father was there for the liberation. Like most Americans they dislike Russia and don't trust Putin.

I would love a tiny brewery like that.

Nice, very nice, and glad you had a hood time there. Unlike Chevy Chase…
it was a neat model
isn't the keg filler cool? I believe that large disk thing is some type of back flow preventer the bottle filler has one also.
