Cold sparge water

anyone tried using cold sparge water for just a rinse batch sparge? I had too because I had to change some things around in my system and forgot one day to heat mine up, could not tell the difference in my pale ale, tried it again on my brown, tastes the same

although I do recirculate my mash at 152 for the whole hour
